Module

The M-Bus modules are used to equip devices with an M-Bus bus interface.

There are active (master) and passive (slave) modules available.

M-Bus Logger

M-Bus Logger

M-Bus Logger

The M-Bus Logger has a modular design in top-hat rail installation.

The following versions are available:
- Load profile:     4000 values ( ca. 40 day with 15 min. registration period).
- Billing data:     for 16 resets (e.g.: 16 month-values).

Programming and data retrieval by M-Bus (according to DIN EN 1434-3).

M-Bus Repeater / Master / Minirepeater / Minimaster

M-Bus Master

The standard M-Bus master is used in medium to large M-Bus systems. Its specific functions are implemented with the following elements:

Power supply module:
The M-Bus master can power up to 250 terminals with a maximum current requirement of 1.5mA each. In cascaded operation, the master ca itself be the terminal for a higher-level bus segment and support the power supply. Current limitation protects the master from an overload or short circuit on the M-Bus. The cable length can be up to 10 km.

   Interfaces:
-

M-Bus (active) for connecting the terminals (output)

-

RS232 service interface for parameterization and error analysis of the terminals connected

-

Exchangeable interface card for data transmission to the control centre: RS232 or M-Bus passive (input)

M-Bus Repeater

The M-Bus repeater is a special version of standard M-Bus master with follow interfaces:
-   Output: M-Bus active
-   RS232 service interface
-   Input: M-Bus passive for connecting the terminals

M-Bus Convertierbox Box

Konvertierboxox

The converter box is used to adapt physically two interfaces and to separate them galvanicly. It is configured as follows:
Two interface slots can be used to plug in the following modules as required:

RS232, 20mA (passive), 20mA (active), M-Bus (passive), M-Bus (active), RS485

Umsetzer Hutschienenmontage

The converter is used to adapt physically two interfaces and to separate them galvanicly:
- M-Bus-Interface passive: function "Slave"
- 20mA-Interface active: networking of one or more meters.

The converter can be designed as a:

Version 1

(for Landis+Gyr ZMD meter only):
with auxiliary voltage (e.g.: 230VAC or 110VAC) to connecting up to 8 meters with 20mA-Interface.

Version 2

(for Landis+Gyr ZMD meter only):
without auxiliary voltage to connecting of one meter with 20mA-Interface.

Version 3

(universal):
without auxiliary voltage to connecting of every one meter with 20mA-Interface

Version 4

Compact housing for wall or top hat rail installation:
with auxiliary voltage (e.g.: 230VAC or 110VAC) to connecting up to 8 meters with 20mA-Interface.
