Meter2SCADA
is a system that has been specially designed for the tasks of
collecting and transferring metering data. Meter2SCADA Transfer System
is used to data transfer between devices (e.g. meters for electricity,
gas, water, oil…) and SCADA-Systems (Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition). The use of data transfer is a fast method to transmit
data and decouples the processes running at the source (meter) and the
target (SCADA) system.
Meter2SCADA is continuously retrieving
instantaneous meter values (e.g. energy, power, currents, voltages,
status, …) or events and storing them into a process data table. The
SCADA system can access these values/events via one of the SCADA
interfaces.
For test purposes the process data table can be
accessed by a WEB-Interface or by the tool M2SMiniViewer. The
communication in both directions (serial or TCP/IP) can be logged by
the tool M2SComLog.
